Greg Harrod graduated from West Elk High School in 1988. He received a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from Kansas State University in May, 1993. Later that month, he married and moved to Peoria, Illinois to work for Caterpillar, Inc. In 1998, Greg and his wife, Angie, moved to Brisbane, Australia to develop mining software for Caterpillar. In May of 2000, he took a job with Johnson Controls, and relocated to Wichita, Kansas. He currently serves as the Engineering Manager for the Residential Systems and Controls group. Greg, Angie, and their three sons live in northwest Wichita, and enjoy visiting family in Howard often. Greg's parents, Mary and Jerry Harrod, and his brother Gary and wife, Lisa, live in Howard. His nieces, Kayla, senior, and Ashley, eighth grade, are students at West Elk. |
